Adelaide Bank has its headquarters in the state of South Australia. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank since March 31, 2008. It was formed on January 1, 1994 from the the Co-Operative Building Society of South Australia Limited. In 1990, the asset base rose to over $1 billion. As of 2010-11, the asset base is about $26 billion.
